Some of the industries, environments and facilities we operate in include:
We are proud to have worked on some impressive process plant projects in recent years that have stretched our problem-solving and creative skills to the limit. But we do love a challenge.
GT Design Solutions have created full 3D designs for a range of very large-scale process plants, including renewable energy, sewage and water treatment. Our customers have included the likes of Monsal Ltd for whom we have designed several biowaste plants and advanced anaerobic digestion plants from concept through to project completion.
All of our designs have successfully achieved their aims and objectives, and all of our customers have been delighted with the design services and expertise we have provided.
The design engineers at GT Design Solutions have an extensive history of experience and knowledge of heavy plant engineering.
Our previous work has included the design and detail of a snow plough train for one of the largest rail organisations in the UK, a project which included the frame design and detailing of large assemblies and parts, mechanical assembly, sheet metal work and bills of materials – all in accordance with the latest rail specifications, including fatigue testing.
We have also worked for a large engineering company that designs and manufactures equipment such as rotary dryers, ball mills and pulverisers for the process industry – so when it comes to heavy plant equipment designs, we know our stuff.
Structural and architectural steelwork is a GT Design Solutions speciality. We’re one of the best in the business when it comes to the design and detail of steelwork that achieves the very highest standard of quality, durability, innovation and cost-effectiveness all in accordance with the latest design regulations.
Whatever steelwork you require, make GT Design Solutions your first call. Our previous work has included access platforms, staircases, mezzanine floors, flue support structures, ladders, and architectural steelwork such as staircases, handrails and balustrades.
Ask us about our previous work –we’d be more than happy to show you what we’ve done for our other satisfied clients. Whether you want us to design a simple structure, replicate an existing structure or design something bespoke for your specific needs, we can fulfil your brief and exceed your expectations.
Our knowledge of process plant equipment, pressure vessels and pipework is second to none. GT Design Solutions has worked in the process industry for many years across a wide variety of sectors. We like to think that we’re the ‘go to’people for customers who want design engineers with the experience to match their skills.
GT Design Solutions has worked extensively in the oil, gas and petrochemical, and food and water and waste sectors, designing bespoke pressure vessel equipment that has included heat exchangers, venturi pipeline equipment (desuperheaters and ejectors) and skid-based plant. We work with the latest pipeline specifications including PED, BS5500 and ASME VIII.
We understand that the needs for one sector can be very different to another, so we’ll take time to understand your business and the outcomes you expect from the work we undertake. We work with our customers at every step of the journey to ensure that we get it right first time, every time.
Our work in the field of automation and machinery design has incorporated leading technology and innovative solutions for clients such as the Ministry of Defence (MoD).
GT Design Solutions were involved in a large automated plant and process to batch mix and handle unstable material. This extensive and complicated project included a large 3D assembly of the entire process plant.
Our design engineers have also worked for an automation company that designed and built machinery for the automotive and aerospace industries. These machines included three and six axis Cartesian robots, trickle impregnation and hot-roll dip systems.
The projects we have worked on within automation and machinery don’t come much bigger, so when you decide to work with us on your project, you can have peace of mind knowing that our team has been there and done it before.
